PROGRAM OUTCOMES
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Management
In harmony with the College’s vision and mission and guided by the goals of the Institute, Bachelor of Science in Business and Administration (BSBA) Program aims to produce graduates who:
- Have a complete understanding of the concepts, principles, theories and philosophies in Human Resource
- Are familiar with and comfortable in the corporate environment and thus are immediately productive once employed
- Appreciate the HR role in an organization and how they can make meaningful contributions as a strategic partner in building the organization to become globally competitive
- Foster concern for the preservation and sustainability of natural and cultural resources, demonstrate ideal Filipino values with respect to individually and cultural diversity of clients, stakeholders and colleagues
- Are capable of conducting relevant research and extension activities in the field of business.
- Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management
Graduates in Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management
- Foster concern for the preservation and sustainability of natural and cultural resources
- Can perform work activities effectively and efficiently to the standards expected in the operation required in the tourism industry/ hospitality sectors
- Undertake tasks, functions, duties and activities in the operation of the hotels, restaurants, travel, government and non- government agencies in accordance with industry competency standards and which are environmentally, culturally and morally sensitive to the needs of the community/ society
- Analyze situations, identify problems, formulate solutions and implement corrective and/or mitigating measures and actions
- Develop micro and macro projects related to the tourism industry
- Demonstrate ideal Filipino values with respect to individuality and cultural diversity of clients, stakeholders and colleagues
- Are capable of conducting relevant research and extension activities in the field of tourism.
Bachelor of Public Administration
In harmony with the College’s vision and mission and guided by its goals, the program Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) aims to produce graduates who can:
- Develop skills on managing a public sector or nonprofit organization
- Apply the theories and practices in program and resource management
- Apply the theories and practices of accounting and budgeting in government and nonprofits
- Evaluate the role of community groups in local government
- Analyze ethical situations in the public sector; and
- Utilize research process to address current problems in public administration
Master in Public Administration
A graduate of Master in Public Administration should be able to:
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in a specialized, interdisciplinary, or multidisciplinary field of study for professional practice;
- Adapt and practice self-directed research
- Demonstrate lifelong learning with a highly substantial degree of independence that involves individual work or teams of interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary experts; and
- Apply the above- mentioned skills in research, professional or creative work.
GOALS:
- To produce competent and globally competitive graduates in the fields of Tourism, Business and Governance;
- To conduct research that is relevant and viable, which generates knowledge, provides basis for policy recommendations and designs innovative programs; and
- To provide extension services that are responsive to the community’s needs, uplifting the quality of life and ensuring its sustainability
- To generate income align to the programs through students, faculty and stakeholders involvement.
OBJECTIVES:
- To provide training and develop marketable skills to further establish careers in the various fields of Tourism, Business, Governance and other fields;
- To equip the students with the skills, positive attitudes, self-knowledge, and expertise that would make them functional and useful members of society;
- To cultivate in the students’ open- mindedness, critical thinking, appreciation of environment, creativity, resourcefulness and industry;
- To establish linkages with other government agencies, Non- Government Organizations, and industry for partnership in internship programs, employment opportunities, research and extension;
- To ensure that research activities are congruent with the global, regional, and local thrust and priorities;
- To disseminate and conduct programs, activities, and projects based on research outputs and institutional expertise.
- To act as an intermediary in delivering expert and professional services between the community and other agencies
