While in Camiguin for the 2025 National SCUAA Games, Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, President of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC), granted us the honor of speaking with him. He delivered some powerful words on how SCUAA promotes sports excellence, unity, discipline, and student leadership around the nation. During the interview, Dr. Ronquillo articulated the deeper meaning of the SCUAA Games—for him, more than an athletic competition, it is a strong movement geared towards unity, character-building, and leadership formation.
